Since 2003, Rahab's Sisters has shared a home with Saints Peter and Paul Episcopal Church. This week, we learned that the church will close at the end of the year. This brings sadness, as we mourn the loss of a two decades-long partnership.

There is also joyful anticipation. The Episcopal Diocese of Western Oregon plans to develop the property with affordable housing. It has the potential for one hundred units, and Rahab's Sisters wholeheartedly supports their project.

While there are logistics and timelines to work through, there is one thing for certain. Rahab's Sisters will remain in operation as usual without interruption. Our commitment to serving our community is stronger than ever as we weather this change.

We are exploring all options and possibilities for an eventual new home. We are working with current partners and seeking new opportunities for partnerships. The Board is all hands-on-deck as they guide and lead us into our next twenty years.

As soon as a new potential home comes into focus, we will engage Guests, volunteers, and donors. Each of your input will be critical to forming a human-centered and trauma-informed Rahab's Sisters.

Until then, consider volunteering in the next month or two. And if you're not yet a sustainer, will you join us in becoming a monthly donor with as little as $10 per month?

Never have bigger changes been in store for our beloved Rahab's Sisters. We are so excited to grow and walk alongside you in this journey.

In solidarity,
