Dear Rahab's Sisters Community,

Last month, I shared the news regarding the closure of Saints Peter and Paul Episcopal Church, the home of Rahab’s Sisters for the past twenty years. Since this announcement, I’ve been tremendously heartened by the outpouring of support, kind words, and encouragement from each of you.

Today, I am writing with an important update about our next steps. While we continue the search for our new permanent home, I'm pleased to share that Rahab's Sisters has found a temporary home at Montavilla United Methodist Church. Best of all, it is just a block and a half away! Our first gathering in this interim space will be held on Wednesday, December 6th, and all services will take place there until further notice.

Here's what I want each of you to know:

• Despite this transition, our services will continue without interruption. Maintaining this continuity for our community remains our utmost priority. It is vital that our Guests face minimal disruption during this period.

• Our commitment to finding a permanent home for Rahab's Sisters remains as strong as ever. You can support us in this search by sending messages to our county Commissioners and the Joint Office of Homeless Services (JOHS), asking that Rahab’s Sisters be a recipient of newly allocated day center funding. In this time of change, I am reminded of the incredible resilience of our community. It is the very essence of who we are at Rahab's Sisters, and with the continued dedication and support from each of you I am confident in our path forward.
