Community Harm Reduction Training 10/29

Join Rahab's Sisters for a community-based overdose prevention and harm-reduction training. Community care is essential, expand your toolkit! Learn about the importance of harm reduction, how to provide compassionate care to people who use drugs, and how to administer nasal Narcan / Nalaxone. Everyone is capable of learning important skills to keep our friends and neighbors safe.

Thursday October 29th
6:00 - 6:30pm: Check-in, dinner and connection
6:30 - 8:00pm: Training

A light dinner will be provided

Participants will receive two doses of nasal Narcan and a face shield after completing the overdose response training

This event will be in person at Rahab's Sisters (232 SE 80th Ave). Parking lot is available, and location is accessible by the #15, 20, and 72 buses.

We will be joined by our partners at Royal Rose Foundation, an awesome organization that provides Harm Reduction supplies and preventative education by and for Black women.
